This is a haka. Have you ever seen this ritual before? Do you know who performs it? Why? When?

  2. I have never seen this ritual and I think it is very strange. It performed by New Zeland Rugby Team when the match is going to start. This ritual is a typical dance Maori.
    You have seen the faces of the another team it's increible poor people.

  4. The Haka is a traditional Maori war dance from New Zealand. There are thousands of Haka that are performed by various tribes and cultural groups throughout New Zealand.
    If I was the other team I´d laugh but I give me a bit scare too. jajaj :)

  5. jajaja It's very funny they do this before a match it's an old ritual or dance that brings luck to the New Zeland Rugby team. They're very good in Rugby and famous, actually they're the best Rugby Team in the world.

  8. Hi teacher! I looked up Haka in Wikipedia and I can say that it is a traditional ancestral war cry, dance from the Maori people of New Zealand. It is a dance perfomed by a group. The New Zealand rugby team always do this dance before the match and this dance has made the dance more known around the world. It is performed by some reasons: welcome ceremonies for distinguished visitors or foreign dignitaries, for the importance of the ocassion,...
